Our Unity Affiliation is tailored for clubs that focus exclusively on recreational gymnastics. Unity clubs gain full access to all IGA programmes related to Gymnastics for All, including GfA competitions, Flip Fest events, and ongoing development opportunities. This membership also provides direct access to our safeguarding support team, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Should a Unity club wish to expand into other disciplines in the future, their account can be upgraded seamlessly to reflect their growth within IGA.

UNITY MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES.

Zero Affiliation Cost

At IGA, we do not charge an affiliation fee. Instead, we simply ask clubs to set their intention to affiliate with us each year. Based on the information provided, we will allocate the tier that best suits your club's structure and activity. Once the club has met the compliance requirements outlined in IGA’s Unity Membership rules, we will mark the account as active and your club will be fully affiliated for the membership year.

Discounted Access to GFA Courses Up to level 3

We offer discounted course prices for coaching qualifications up to Gymnastics for All (GFA) Level 3. These accessible rates are designed to support clubs in developing a strong coaching foundation. In addition, coaches enrolled in these courses gain access to a wide range of free online content, providing valuable resources to help them upskill, stay informed, and deliver high-quality sessions within their clubs.

Safeguarding support

IGA-affiliated clubs have full access to safeguarding support and guidance whenever they need it. This includes tailored advice for club-specific situations, as well as access to online safeguarding courses designed specifically for coaches and welfare officers. These resources ensure that everyone involved in your club is confident, well-informed, and equipped to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

Public, Employers, Directors & Committee and Liability

As part of your affiliation, clubs receive full insurance cover including: Public Liability (£15M), Professional Indemnity (£10M), Employers' Liability (£10M), and Directors & Officers Liability (£5M). This ensures protection for coaching activities, volunteers, and club leadership.

PROFICIENCY AWARD SCHEME

Our Proficiency Award Scheme is another fantastic benefit available to affiliated clubs. You can choose to work through our structured award system, which begins at preschool foundation skills and progresses all the way to higher advanced skills. Alternatively, clubs have the flexibility to create their own bespoke schemes using our editable templates, allowing you to tailor progression to suit your unique programme and gymnast needs.

Access to GFA competitions and flip fest

IGA clubs also gain access to our GFA competitions and the exciting Flip Fest display events. We offer two unique competition pathways to ensure every child, regardless of ability or experience, has the opportunity to take part. Whether your gymnasts are just starting out or progressing through advanced levels, our inclusive and flexible formats make competition a positive and accessible experience for all.
