Our Unity Affiliation is tailored for clubs that focus exclusively on recreational gymnastics. Unity clubs gain full access to all IGA programmes related to Gymnastics for All, including GfA competitions, Flip Fest events, and ongoing development opportunities. This membership also provides direct access to our safeguarding support team, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Should a Unity club wish to expand into other disciplines in the future, their account can be upgraded seamlessly to reflect their growth within IGA.
Clubs must hold a valid Unity Affiliation and have all club details fully completed. They are required to be compliant with IGA policies and must have an accredited welfare officer with an up-to-date DBS attached to their account. All recreational members must be affiliated either individually or through bulk registration, and clubs using bulk insurance must ensure this is regularly updated to accurately reflect all participating members.
Coaches must hold active IGA insurance and have up-to-date DBS clearance. They are also required to have a valid safeguarding (CPD) qualification and be accredited with the appropriate coaching qualifications relevant to the sessions they are delivering.
