Name the Mascot - Terms and Conditions

  1. This competition is run by Independent Gymnastics Affiliation (IGA). Registered address: Unit 6, 52 Edison Business Centre, Edison Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8TE
  2. This competition is open to IGA gymnasts.
  3. There is no entry fee to this competition.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. Entrants can suggest an unlimited number of different names. Each name must be submitted as a separate entry.
  6. Entrants can only submit one colouring template.
  7. Online entries close Sunday 30th April at 23:59. All entries received after this deadline will not be entered into the competition.
  8. Postal entries must be received before Sunday 30th Postal entries received after this date will not be entered into the competition.
  9. All entries must be submitted via the form at independentgymnastics.com or by post – comments and suggestions posted on social media will not be counted as an entry.
  10. No responsibility can be taken for entries not received for whatever reason.
  11. A panel of judges selected by IGA will make the decision on the name and reserves the right to reject any submission that are:
    1. Rude
    2. Inappropriate or;
    3. all suggestions if a suitable name cannot be agreed.
  12. IGA reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition. Any changes will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
  13. The prizes are as follows:
    1. The gymnast who wins the naming competition will receive an IGA mascot bear. Prize has no cash alternative and is non-transferable.
    2. The winning picture entry from each age group will win an IGA goodie bag. Prize has no cash alternative and is non-transferable.
  14. If more than two entries are received for the same chosen name, these will be entered into a draw and a winner selected at random by software.
  15. Age groups will be determined by the panel of judges once entries have closed. IGA reserves the right to combine ages to form larger groups.
  16. The winner will be notified no later than Wednesday 10th May
  17. The result will be announced 14th May at the IGA Level 8 – 7 competition.
  18. Details of the prize winners may be posted on social media, IGA website and in the media.
  19. The prize winner may be required to take part in publicity including having their photo taken for use online, press and social media.
  20. IGA will securely hold and process your data in line with UK and EU data protection laws. Third party access to this data is limited to those providers we use to help carry our services to you and we will not share or sell your data to any other organisations.
  21. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, IGA may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition. IGA reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
