Men and women compete for Olympic medals in individual apparatus events as well as in all-around and team titles. At Paris 2024, there are 14 gold medals available in artistic gymnastics.

Men's events include six apparatus: vault, floor, parallel bars, horizontal bar, rings, and pommel horse. Women compete on four apparatus: vault, floor, beam, and uneven bars.

The qualification round determines which eight teams advance to the team final, which 24 gymnasts will compete for the all-around title, and which eight gymnasts will contest each individual apparatus final. Each country is limited to two gymnasts per final, so some high-ranking gymnasts in the qualifiers might not make it to the all-around and apparatus finals if two of their compatriots have higher scores.

Scores for routines are a combination of a D score (difficulty) and an E score (execution), with any penalties deducted. In the team final, three of the five gymnasts from each team must compete on each apparatus, with all scores contributing to the team's overall total.

Woah!

We have limited spaces for our next GFA Level 1 at Sapphire Gymnastics Club in Pistone on August 17th with only 4 spaces available!!

Don't miss out—book your spot today and seize this opportunity! 🤸‍♀️💫 #Gymnastics #Level1 #BookNow
