The University Gymnastics Cup (UGCUP)

IGA is proud to support and continue the organisation of The University Gymnastics Cup (UGCUP) — a league-style competition series designed specifically for student gymnasts across the UK.

The UGC aims to unite a number of well-established university gymnastics open competitions into one cohesive national league. By working closely with universities, the UGC helps facilitate and enhance the hosting and organisation of these events, creating a consistent and rewarding competition experience for student athletes.

With support from IGA and the introduction of affiliation fees, the UGC is able to invest in high-quality league medals and trophies, event management equipment, and professional media platforms including social media, web services, and photography.

Together, IGA and the UGC are committed to growing and celebrating the student gymnastics community.

Will anything change now that IGA is running the UGCUP events?

The only change will be in the administration process. Universities will now need to register through the IGA portaland book events via our online system. We’re working to make this transition as smooth as possible and will provide clear guidance and support throughout. The structure, spirit, and goals of the UGCUP will remain the same — we’re simply aiming to streamline operations and enhance the overall experience.
