Do you recognise overseas qualifications?

Yes — IGA recognises qualifications from outside the UK. You simply upload proof to your account and the team will review and convert it to an IGA‑recognised qualification.

How often should I renew my DBS check?

It’s recommended that members renew their DBS certificate every three years or join the DBS Update Service to keep it current.

Do I need membership to hold a gymnastics birthday party?

No — non‑members can host birthday parties provided there are no more than 25 guests and appropriate supervision ratios are followed.

What happens if I don’t renew my membership in time?

If you don’t renew before the deadline, your membership will lapse, your insurance coverage will end, and your account may be marked as inactive. After a period of inactivity (per GDPR requirements), accounts may be removed.

How do I sign up for an IGA membership?

ou can sign up by visiting the Members Portal on the IGA website and following the sign‑up process. You’ll need to create an account and use your membership number as your username. Please note if your a club wanting to register, you will need to head to ‘Join IGA’ > Register your club.
