Jersey Girls Clinch Gold at IGA Gymnastics GEMS

Six talented young gymnasts have earned an impressive total of 14 medals while competing against clubs from all over the UK.

Representing Regent Gymnastics Club, the athletes traveled to High Wycombe for the IGA National GEM’s Grades competition.

Despite facing strong competition, the club praised the gymnasts for their outstanding skill and determination.

“The results speak volumes about the hard work and preparation put in by our gymnasts,” said the club. “Every coach is incredibly proud of the girls’ performances and the resilience they showed in such a competitive setting.”

The day proved to be a major success for the club, and these accomplishments mark just the beginning of what is sure to be a bright future for these gifted gymnasts.

All six gymnasts passed their grade levels, with 13-year-olds Georgia and Holly standing out by earning distinctions for scoring over 40 points.

Tilly, 14, delivered an outstanding performance, earning a remarkable collection of medals: gold in Vault, silver in both Floor and Bars, and bronze in Beam and Overall.

Among the youngest competitors was 9-year-old Edelle, who competed in the Citrine Level against 18 other gymnasts. She impressed the judges with her skills in Flexibility and Balance, securing a well-deserved silver.

At the Sapphire Level, Georgia, Holly, Myla-Rose, 11, and Florence, 12, also showcased their talent, bringing home an impressive array of awards:
