Location: IGA Head Office – Aylesbury HP198TE
Salary: Competitive and open for discussion
Job Type: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Onsite.

About the Role:

As our Senior Safeguarding Officer, you will lead the safeguarding efforts at IGA, ensuring the protection of our gymnasts. You will collaborate closely with the Safeguarding Team and become their main point of contact.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline support for all IGA members and manage safeguarding interventions.
  • Implement IGA’s Child Protection Policy and Procedures.
  • Support the development and delivery of regular training for staff.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of safeguarding issues and maintain secure, confidential records in compliance with GDPR.

Requirements:

  • Designated Safeguarding Lead training or experience
  • Experience in safeguarding in sport (desirable)
  • Experience in a safeguarding role
  • Experience working with external agencies, young people and parents/carers
  • Knowledge of safeguarding issues and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
